Our Provision

We warmly welcome children from the age of 2 into our Pre-Nursery and from age 3 into our Nursery.

Families may choose from two distinct attendance options:

1. Term-Time Only – Children attend during school terms only, from 8:20 am to 3:00/3:30 pm. Within this, families may opt for:

Mornings only (8:20 am to 12:30 pm, including lunch)
Full days (8:20 am to 3:30 pm)

2. Year-Round Provision – Children attend for 48 weeks a year, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. This extended offering includes all meals and a rich mix of structured and play-based activities, even outside of term time.

For both options, families may select two, three, or five days per week, depending on their needs.

Term Time

Many of our families choose our nursery because of its strong academic foundations and our reputation for supporting children in making excellent progress. During school term time, our core provision (8:20 am – 3:30 pm) maintains this high-quality learning environment.

Children enrolled in the extended day option and arriving from 8:00 am will enjoy a nutritious buffet breakfast. This includes a healthy selection of cereals, toast, fresh fruit, and yoghurt.

After 3:30 pm, extended day pupils engage in enriching activities, such as outdoor Nature Explorers sessions in the later afternoon. These are followed by a hot meal, typically served between 4:15 pm and 5:00 pm. The final hour of the day offers a relaxed atmosphere with free-flow play in the familiar classroom setting, where staff lead games and read stories.

Out of Term Time

During the weeks when the main school is closed, our nursery environment becomes even more child-led and play-focused, building on the themes and learning from term time.

The days include extended opportunities for play-based phonics, early numeracy, and outdoor exploration. Children will also participate in cooking activities and continue to enjoy all meals—breakfast, lunch, and tea—as they do during the school term.
