At Norfolk House School, sustainability is a core part of our ethos and everyday practices. As proud members of Eco-Schools and recipients of the Green Eco Flag Award with distinction for the past three years, we are committed to fostering environmental responsibility in our students.
Our curriculum integrates climate change education across subjects and includes regular outdoor lessons, equipping students to be responsible leaders and citizens who understand their role in protecting the planet. Outside the classroom, we participate in local litter picks, take part in Greenpeace’s Big Plastic Count to monitor and reduce plastic waste, and run a second-hand uniform shop to cut down on textile waste. Our school garden also plays a crucial role, providing a hands-on learning space where students grow their own fruits and vegetables, enhancing their understanding of biodiversity and sustainable practices. At Norfolk House School, we are dedicated to leading by example and continuously innovating to create a greener future.
