Each year, our students spread joy through care home visits, particularly around the festive season. Singing Christmas Carols in the heart of Muswell Hill has become a cherished tradition, where our children’s voices light up the local centre and bring smiles to many.
Community & Alumni

Community
The school also regularly utilises local sporting venues, such as Highgate Woods and nearby Alexandra Palace/Park, offering children a chance to engage in physical activities while remaining connected to the wonderful area in which we are located.
Our school community thrives on the involvement of parents. With many opportunities for parental engagement, we encourage parents to actively participate in their children’s learning journey. The “Friends of Norfolk House” stands out as a highly active and dynamic parent group, going beyond the traditional PTA model. This collective not only supports the school through organizing events but also enriches the school experience by creating a close-knit, supportive network for both parents and staff.

Alumni
We deeply value the lifelong connection we foster with our pupils and warmly welcome former pupils to revisit the school. Whether they want to reminisce about their time here or share stories of their journeys beyond Norfolk House, alumni are always invited to reconnect with us.
Alumni Spotlights:
- Leila Hidier: Leila is a shining example of the creativity and passion that thrives at Norfolk House. Now a successful entrepreneur, Leila’s journey continues to inspire current students who aim to follow in her footsteps.
- Christian Andree: Christian Andree joined Norfolk House in 1964 as its youngest student. He fondly recalls the school’s traditions, inspiring teachers, and his eventual role as Head Boy, which left a lasting impact on his academic and personal development.
- Steven Howard: Steven Howard, a former Norfolk House pupil, revisited the school ten years ago to reminisce. He shared old photos from the playground, including one of the Under 11 football team from 1969/70 with Mr. Robin Howat, expressing gratitude for the visit.
We love hearing from our former pupils, so if you’d like to get in touch or plan a visit, please contact us at office@norfolkhouseschool.org.
